Well Cottage is a bright and airy one-bedroom self-catering property all on one level, and can accommodate up to 4 guests. This lovely property is surprisingly spacious with a triple aspect kitchen living and dining area, all overlooking the private courtyard and garden area to the front of the cottage.
Well Cottage was formerly a well house and pump room in the 1900 Century, and sits above a 200' capped well, hence its name. If you look at the photos of the cottage you will be able to see a photo taken in 1890, 1930 and 1955 of the cottage as it was then.
Well Cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, with a new granite work surface, an electric cooker, hob, refrigerator with freezer box, a microwave, toaster and washer/dryer, making the property perfect for couples and small families however long you want to stay. In the sitting room area there is a new flat screen 32 inch smart tv with free view and an integrated dvd player, and a bed settee for any additional visitors.
The pretty bedroom directly off the sitting room, has lovely pale green paneling on two walls, making it very relaxing. The new king size bed with a mattress topper to make it more comfortable, has very useful storage underneath. Along with bedside cabinets, a double wardrobe and additional drawers, it means you will have plenty of storage to be able to stay as long as you like. The en suite shower room off of the bedroom completes the convenience and luxury of this lovely property.
And finally there is a seating area outside the cottage which is perfect for alfresco dining, or watching the wildlife whilst relaxing. With guaranteed off road parking next to the cottage, it makes the ease of staying in this lovely property even more enjoyable.
Tea and coffee are provided on arrival to help you settle in, but for those staying a week or longer an additional welcome pack is provided in each of our properties. And at Christmas we even decorate the properties so you can enjoy that lovely Christmassy feel as soon as you arrive.
Well Cottage has been awarded a Gold 3-star rating from Visit England (Quality in Tourism 2017).
